Darkness
1) In the context of Spiritual Satanism, darkness represents the subconscious mind, the internal Yin in the Yang, the female side of the soul.
2) Conceptually, it represents ones ignorance. The darkness is the unknown, but also the absence of knowledge, the absence of light. On the path of Spiritual Satanism, one explores the darkness, to illuminate it, and transform from the state of ignorance into enlightenment.
3) As a power of Creation, darkness is the starting principle of the source of creation, part of the dual nature of the Universe represented by the eternal interplay of darkness and light, yin and yang, infinite creation and permutation of the universe.
