Furthermore, as pages are renamed/moved, or even merged, this will continue to change what the search function returns. At a later date, any redirects, whether from duplicate sources or not, can be deleted if they are creating excess clutter, rather than value. | |||

Originally, I had thought it was necessary to delete Duplicate pages, however, this can break the links which go to one of the pages.Therefore, it is better to simply delete the content of the duplicate being removed, but redirect the duplicate page to the page which is being kept. For now, the only issue I can see is potentially excess clutter in the search function, but this is not an issue right now.
Furthermore, as pages are renamed/moved, or even merged, this will continue to change what the search function returns. At a later date, any redirects, whether from duplicate sources or not, can be deleted if they are creating excess clutter, rather than value.
