The Ankh is the symbol of the world tree in ancient Egypt.The Ankh’s vertical line that connects to the Shen is called the VA in Egyptian. In Kabbalah the Vau letter is the secret name of all the 32 paths on the world tree. It’s called Vauel but the EL just means "god", it is Vau.
The Ankh was also shown with the Vas Specter upon it and the Djedi pillar as the vertical shaft. These are the symbols of the spinal column in ancient Egypt. Note Djedi means Serpent. The Ankh is also the symbol of the serpent planet of Venus which turns to the left as a planet, the direction which represents the serpent energy. Vasu is the name of Venus in Sanskrit and a title of Vishnu. The name of the flute of Krishna which represents the spinal column and the serpent energy is Vamsa Venu. Venu...s. The serpent energy is the spinal column. Krishna is Vishnu. The Ankh is the serpent energy flowing through the spine and brain.
